WHAT WE DO TOFURTHER OUR CAUSE
To raise awareness about the impact of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), specifically Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), within Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in the UK, we foster strategic partnerships with a select group of organizations, spanning grassroots networks to specialized groups, nationwide. Additionally, we prioritize internal engagement, empowering our Change Agent Network community to actively advocate against violence targeting women, with a focus on FGM, and encouraging peers to join our efforts in driving positive change.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To create awareness of the risks associated with FGM and its sister-violent practices
To equip girls and women with the knowledge of their sexual and reproductive rights
To equip girls and women with the skillset for advocacy against FGM
To strengthen the voice of girls and women in demanding for justice and equality
To produce change attitude towards FGM and other GBV forms in the UK communities where it is prevalent.
