Founded in 2022, Change Agent Network combats violence against women and girls in the form of Female Genital Mutilation. We work hand in hand with stakeholders across our networks and a number of local partners across the United Kingdom.

Our Mission
To raise awareness about Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) within the Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) Communities in the UK through various channels. By fostering increased awareness of the lifelong physical and mental health implications, we aim to contribute to the reduction of FGM practices in Manchester.
Our Governance
Under the leadership of Executive Director Dr. Bola Oyelakin-Ogungbadejo, the Change Agent Network is governed by a 3-member Board of Directors. A dedicated team plans and manages the programs, develops partnerships with non-profit organizations and organizes the communication on the organisation’s actions.
